Wednesday, CSS inaugurated its fully operational 1,000-seat service delivery unit at Taguig City, Fort Bonifacio, which offers multi-lingual customer services, retention services, inbound and outbound sales, technology and other integrated BPO services covering 8 industry verticals for North American and European customers. The company intends to double its headcount in the Philippines within the 2010 fiscal year, according to CSS CEO nick Sharma. “The Philippines BPO industry is witnessing a very interesting phase of business outsourcing.” “The Philippines has emerged as one of the key global hubs for the BPO industry. We felt this is the most opportune time to expand our capabilities in this country,” he explained.
