RP to establish as major BPO player in non-voice services

Philippine BPO has become a US$7-billion industry employing 450,000 people.BPAP have discussed the Philippines establishing itself as a major BPO player with delegates in the World Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Forum held in Jersey City, New Jersey.

The forum served as a venue for delegates to discuss the latest trends, issues, challenges, as well as best practices, in the global outsourcing industry.

The Philippine delegation consisted of representatives from 10 Philippine BPO companies led by BPAP President and Chief Executive Officer Oscar Sañez and former Commission on Information and Communication Technology (CICT) Chairman Ray Anthony Roxas-Chua III.

Sañez and Chua shared to the participants the dramatic growth of the Philippine BPO industry over the past 10 years. Read more...
