Dilip Vellodi, chairman and CEO of Sutherland Global Services, told Manila Bulletin during a teleconference call that the planned two new campuses or sites would be located in Metro Manila and the other in a Manila suburb. Vellodi has refused to divulge the details of the new campuses, but said the company will continue investing in the Philippines, one of Sutherland’s biggest operations with over 10,000 employees in a span of 5 years. Sutherland has six campuses in the country namely, Taguig, Makati, Clark, Tarlac, Camarines Sur, and Davao offering an integrated set of front and back office services that support the entire customer lifecycle. “The Philippines will continue to be a beneficiary of our growth,” Vellodi said. Vellodi cited the Philippines for its huge pool of qualified talent, cost efficiency and the commitment of the government to provide necessary infrastructure and business-friendly environment as main factors that allow BPO firms to grow here. “We are very pleased with the productivity of our operations in the Philippines and the numbers speak for themselves,” he said.
